I'm hoping to more or less rewrite the entire content engine of this site from the ground up. If you have any comments or suggestions on how to improve the usability of this site, please let me know!

Eventually the source code should be available to the general public, so especially leave suggestions if you might be interested in trying this content management engine.

While learning how to dynamically create images with PHP, I took the time to write up a little program to demonstrate it.

I don't know about you, but I'm easily amused, and I thought I'd share my amusement. It's fully functional, but I'm gonna have to edit it to make the page look a little nicer. Heh.

as you can see the site is undergoing a bit of revamping.

i've broken some parts of the site, and i'm working as fast as i can to get them working again. hah.

hopefully all my work will translate into a better looking, more functional site, so stay tuned!

i've decided to revive this site. i hope i remain inspired enough to post in it, because i really wish i could keep writing.

this will be quite a bit different than my livejournal. my livejournal will be dedicated to true-to-life events and feelings.

what i write here is not true in the strictest sense of the word. it is inspired by reality. the best writing stays in touch with reality, but caricaturizes and exaggerates, idealizes and distorts. none of my characters are any one person in their entirety. the first person does not strictly represent me.

i've always found that my best writing is based on what i'm feeling at the time, but i just let it spiral out of control until it's barely recognizable.

in short, this is not me. the people i write about may or may not resemble real people at all. overall, just don't get offended.

I know I haven't written here in forever, but I'm gonna put my warped tour pictures up here. I decided to put them up in two sets, because I haven't scanned the second half yet but I still want to put these ones up right away. I'll post the others ASAP. My pictures are almost all of Tsunami Bomb, I took some during Rancid but they didn't turn out well because I wasn't close enough.
